I am still a bit unsure on SC2, I stopped playing the Beta and will wait from the review verdicts before making a decision. I don't even know if I have time to play it right now with a bunch of other games on the go. I still have to finish Crysis, Bioshock, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Bioshock 2, and Borderlands just to name a few.

I'm still undecided about the collectors edition. I guess I do already have both original games.

The soundtrack would be pretty much the only reason, and the downloadable battle.net content. I'm just worried that I'll hate myself later for not having the cool Terran units.

11 days to go, guys! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I've been waiting for this since the 8th grade!

You haven't been able to get the collectors edition for months.

And midnight release tonight, going to the mall here in Guelph for it, super excited!

i'll be heading to the gamestop by my house here tonight, got the day off work tomorrow, and a lan party with my brothers and some buddies. it'll actually be a virtual lan, seeing as there is no LAN functionality in SC2, but whatever

should be a blast tonight

I played the first few missions in the campaign last night. The graphics are sharp, I am running it at Ultra and everything is maxed out with zero frame rate issues. Talk about a sweet game, everything is really well done.

The campaign actually gets pretty tough and helps you work faster. If you find it too easy, crank up the game speed to what it is online.

I went to the post office and picked it up, as no one was around when it came to my door. Installing now.

Goodbye, world.

I like that this game still has the same feel as the original. I felt like, although good in it's own right, the same cannot be said for Warcraft 3

SC 2 is pretty sweet so far.

Anyone else make the mistake of putting in a random profile name to start the campaign to later find out that it's your online username as well, and it can't be changed unless you buy a new copy of sc2?

You can't change your profile name? Damn!

I'm glad I picked the one I wanted.

My username is Cosmia if anyone wants to add me. I'm still a bit nub and basically rely on void rays, but I've only lost one game out of four so far.

You need the RealID to add someone to your friends list, which is your account email. My profile name is the same as my character in World of Warcraft though.

No you don't. You just need the handle if you don't want your real name going out there. My number is 746 btw.
